What the Hell? Not Defying SCOTUS on Gay Marriage Will Lead to the Police Arresting Your Husband!
Homophobic nut job, and anti abortion fanatic, Cal Zastrow said that not defying the supreme court on gay marriage will lead to “the Sodimite police” or “the population police” arresting your husband, for being a “good Christian” I guess. Seriously he actually said that! Just look at this clip from Right Wing Watch.
Never mind that the biggest reason why they’d say its unconstitutional for states to nullify a supreme ruling, is because it is. Oh and why on Earth would not getting rid of marriage equality lead to anyone getting arrested? The only thing I can think off hand, other than if you’re someone like Kim Davis whose job requires them to marry gay couples and you refuse, is if you tried to use violence to stop a gay couple from getting married because the state won’t stop them anymore.
Bigots are always wrong. Thankfully of course none of the horrible things that homophobes think are going to happen will happen, just like none of the horrible things happened that racists thought would happen after we legalized interracial marriage, which reminds me.
