This is a snowball you can throw back at climate change denialists. It has no other value, however, since an unusual warm spell does not validate climate change any more than a big snowstorm refutes it.

Yes, quite unusual we don’t see certain Senators and Reps from Texas throwing snowballs in Congress now. What someone in Congress with an appreciation of real actual Science should do is instead start handing out bottles of sunscreen.

It’s not that another record was broken, rather it’s that records have consistently been broken the past 15 years.
