New Ted Cruz Ad Is Wingnut Star Wars
Literally, its wingnut Star Wars, and this is an actual ad for Ted Cruz, not a parody, although its still pretty funny.
Several things come to mind. If Obama is really Sith level evil, why didn’t he use the force and attack Cruz and his white elephant with a red light saber, instead of running away? Seems kind of cowardly and weak sauce for a Sith lord. Maybe because red is the GOP color? Seriously this ad is pretty stupid, but I was kind of looking forward to a light saber dual between Jedi master Ted Cruz and Sith Lord Darth Obama, when he confronted him.
Also in the end the American people always prevail, just like the Rebel Alliance against the Empire in Star Wars? Well ignoring that its “The Resistance” vs “The First Order” in the latest movie, the American people haven’t prevailed when comes to campaign finance reform. The supreme court struck laws that limit campaign contributions on the grounds that money equals speech, and they continue to do so, despite the fact that most Americans support such measures. Also Americans have supported stricter gun control including background checks for anyone looking to buy a gun. Yet thanks to groups like the NRA, its easier than ever for bad people to get their hands on firearms in this country. Oh but I think Cruz is only talking about the American people prevailing when they agree with him. I mean they can’t be allowed to prevail when it comes to marriage equality, that would break Sith lord, I mean Jedi master Ted Cruz’s little heart. I mean we can’t force the states to allow the gays to marry can we? Its a “question for the States” isn’t it? Just like it was with interracial marriage, am I right? Let’s ignore how the constitution and the supreme court are supposed to work, just like Jedi master Ted Cruz wants us too.
Also seriously, in what way is Obama breaking the law, and openly defying the constitution? It seems to me, that its the Republicans who are openly calling for defying the law, including Jedi Master Ted Cruz. I think its the GOP and Ted Cruz that have turned to the dark side of the force.
