Thanks for posting this but I have concerns because I remember what it’s like to be a kid in school. I absolutely hated the locker room scene. If you were late hitting puberty it was a living hell, for example.

So let’s say there’s a legitimate case of a transgendered person who is perhaps going through a treatment to block the onset of puberty and is identifying with a different sex than their birth sex. For them it really doesn’t matter which locker room they end up in, they are going to be abused — because children that age are horrible to each other.

So I’m not sure what this directive is supposed to solve because I don’t think there are any easy solutions for these children no matter what. The only thing I’d hope for is they can get the proper counseling and support and not to be called mentally ill, like the assholes on the right call them. :-(

re: #1 weave

It’s just possible we have a simpler solution, at least for adults. The young teens need education and empathy skills.

Notice how the ADA changed bathroom design? My suggestion might be we simply get rid of most bathroom urinals, which require a penis or an awkward device for the anatomical female, and put in stalls. Every one can latch the door and have privacy.

Post modern bathroom design as more androgynous in design, good for the handicapped and just maybe more family friendly for diaper changes, breast pumps etc.

People will moan and complain about changing habits and costs. So be it. I don’t mind sharing sink space with anyone else, that part of a bathroom can be common areas if stalls provide privacy.

True. I think a lot of countries are like that already, like Japan. Near where I live there’s Longwood Gardens that attracts a lot of foreign tourists. I’ve gone into the men’s room there and seen a load of asian women primping in front of the mirror. I just looked at them for a moment in disbelief, then shrugged, and did my business at the urinal and left. If it didn’t bother them, it didn’t bother me.

And once again, for anyone who says that Hillary is just a quieter, non-penised Donald Trump, EXHIBIT #INFINITY as to why they can go get bent.

Yes, I know she wasn’t a part of this particular event, but she’s part of the administration that did it, and nobody on the right would have had the balls (or the ovaries) to do anything like this.
