Did Google Adjust Its Autocomplete Algorithm to Hide Hillary Clinton’s Problems?
This is found to be mostly false, and Napolitano’s charge is absolutely ridiculous because if anything is going on it’s the opposite that’s true. As I’ve noted in previous tweets it’s nearly impossible to find positive Clinton stories at the head of Google search. I don’t think that this is a vast plot however, I think it’s just that the right wing noise machine is highly effective at refreshing and linking to negative Clinton stories to keep them at the top of the heap. This is why when Hillary took an 11 point lead in a poll I had to search Bing and Reuters to find it.
So in essence the crap that Napolitano’s talking about has flooded the zone for so long that it’s just not news, but somehow it’s still blocking new headlines for or against Clinton in Google unless you are willing to dig pages deep into search returns,

Way back in May is when I first noticed this:
I compared Bing searches to Google searches for positive Clinton press, and Bing wins if that’s what you are looking for.

Is America’s most popular search engine trying to make us forget about Hillary Clinton’s email woes?
The hosts of Fox & Friends explored this angle in a June 16, 2016, segment that started with a video clip contrasting autocomplete predictions for searching “Hillary Clinton cri” on Google, Yahoo and Bing. After watching the video, which was from a website called SourceFed, Fox News’ chief judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano accused Google of hiding Clinton’s problems.
“The clip that we just ran is the result of a very extensive test, an examination, about whether or not attempts to find things like, ‘crime,’ ‘criminal activity,’ ‘indictment,’ have been filtered out by Google, and we know that it has,” Napolitano said.
We wanted to find out for ourselves if Google manipulates search suggestions in favor of Clinton.
