“Assuming Republicans retained the majority in both the House and Senate in 2016, Will said “gridlock” in government is a good thing “nine times out of 10.”

“Gridlock is not an American problem. It’s an American achievement,” he said, explaining that there are some countries that “wish” their governments were gridlocked.”

Uh no, George, gridlock is th antithesis of government. Finding bipartisan common ground is for the greater good, not perpetual antagonism and “party uber alles”. That’s what’s given you Trump.

George Will is a main reason why Trump has been the end-game for Republicans during the past 40 years. Playing fast and loose with facts, reality, and playing footies with religious theocratic nutcases has been the Republican strategy since Nixon. George Will has gone right along with all this these past years all the while maintaining an elitist tower mentality that has been maligned within his own party on a constant and unwavering level. It is he that has been blind, deaf, and dumb on his own party’s travels towards abject extremism and theocracy. Where can he go? Where can a simpering, clueless, spineless stuffed shirt go when he feels alienated from 99.99% of the American public? Nowhere except his overseas vacation spot.

After seeing the pile of feces in the middle of the floor, taking a dump in the room and adding to it, Will suddenly decides to bolt because the stench becomes too much for him to endure? One would think that he would have recognized long before now that sh*t stinks, but he didn’t because he was too busy making sure the pile became larger and larger as he put party over country again, and again, and again. He should not be surprised that Trump is the party’s 2016 presidential nominee since did everything he could to help him get there. I don’t imagine he’ll attempt to remember the decades that he carried water for the GOP even when he knew the party had stepped off the cliff and was headed into the ravine. I have zero sympathy for Will and the other prominent GOPers who are appalled today at what has happened to “their” party. The fact that they didn’t consider someone like Trump could ever rise to the top in their party informs me that they don’t believe in long-term, long-range planning.

George Will and his ilk enabled a grifter like Trump to become the face of the GOP. What people like George Will refuse to admit is Trump IS the GOP. Didn’t you see the numbers? Record votes. He’s your boy, Georgie. George Will helped build that stage Trump is using. George Will now suddenly wakes up? Sure. You bet cha. Yeah. George Will can go piss up a rope. And then he can Eff Off. For. Ev. Vah.

Detroit Local Powers First EV Charging Road in North America The road, about a mile from Local 58's hall, uses rubber-coated copper inductive-charging coils buried under the asphalt that transfer power to a receiver pad attached to a car's underbelly, much like how a phone can be charged wirelessly. ...
