This is a good piece, but at the same time it’s an example of what drives me crazy about the media in general. The tone throughout is a kind of disinterested omniscience, as if there were nothing really unusual about a presidential candidate who spreads absolutely insane conspiracy theories. Sure, they say the Birther CT was “long-debunked,” but then they proceed to write about it as just another political tool, like an economic plan or something.

Argh. News from nowhere, written by people with no viewpoints.

Well we don’t want to be judgemental about a serial liar and bullshit artist, do we?

Like Ann Coulter on MSNBC. Who in their right mind would book that blood sucking pile of bones and give her the opportunity to say one word? The reporting on Trump is really something to be ashamed of. The press, pushed around by a neo fascist wanna be strong man, who threatens them, kisses his ass just so they can report on him pissing on them. With no judgement. Witless and dangerous.

You would think that more journalists would strive to jump that barrier from news reporting and news analysis to Opinion writer since that’s where the only real money in Journalism lies. This particular story would be a great place to speak out and move join the true pundits.
