The GOP died quite a while back. The actual date could be up for discussion. The problem with Nicole Wallace and her ilk is they never saw the rot? Never heard the hate? Ignored the stench? Bullshit. Not any other theocratic nightmare that stood on that stage with Trump could have been any better. Trump has your hate machine and he’s proud of what you built. It’s Saturday. Fuck the GOP.

George Bush was an incompetent president but a decent man, probably the last decent man to run for president under the GOP banner.

I once asked if the events of six years ago were symptoms of a dying party. I did not imagine that it’s brand could be wholly stolen, the infrastructure smuggled away like so much illicit cargo. What was deliberately left behind were those things that I could support with a clear conscience. Now those things are either languishing in a metaphorical junkyard or got picked up for pennies by politicians of other affiliations and many of no allegiance at all.

The GOP may “die” as a party, but the parasite that is the conservative movement will just find another host.

Detroit Local Powers First EV Charging Road in North America The road, about a mile from Local 58's hall, uses rubber-coated copper inductive-charging coils buried under the asphalt that transfer power to a receiver pad attached to a car's underbelly, much like how a phone can be charged wirelessly. ...
