Supervisor of Elections May Have Lied About Decision to Remove Boca Raton Mosque as Polling Site
As you can see from my five tweets in July below, this is an update about an occurrence in Florida during the summer. Susan Bucher, a Democrat who caved to bigots, was at the center of the story. Unfortunately, she was reelected as Supervisor of Elections for Palm Beach County in August. Now it appears that she may have been lying about her reason for removing the mosque as a polling place. On July 8, Bucher announced the polling site would be moved to a nearby library, telling the Palm Beach Post, the Sun-Sentinel, and other news outlets that there had been a bomb threat aimed at the mosque, which had forced her to seek out alternate locations.
The only problem? She later admitted to police that she’d decided to move the polling site long before receiving the bomb threat. […]

Here she is self-righteously covering her ass, even though her concern trolling didn’t extend to reporting the alleged “bomb threat” to the police, not to mention the fact that she told the PBPD investigator that she decided to remove the mosque as a polling place BEFORE any threat was made. Her craven pandering masquerading as a desire to protect voters is beyond contemptible.
