Early Voting Leads to Near-Brawl in Northeast Kansas
JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -
An emotional presidential campaign nearly boiled over into a parking lot fight this week, during early voting in northeast Kansas.
A witness told KCTV two men got into a shouting match at a Johnson County polling place - one supporting Hillary Clinton, the other supporting Donald Trump. Some expletives were exchanged, and one voter challenged the other to settle things outside.
Johnson County Election Commissioner Ronnie Metsker said order was restored when a relative took one of the voters outside to calm him down.
