I suggest that for many of us taking a little step back perhaps is a good idea. We have a natural pause in this time before the swearing in.

I tried to get my own swearing out of the way last night and this morning. More seriously, I’m thinking measured step back from politics a while. There is no benefit to worrying whilst waiting.

For people that this is immediately personal like minorities, women, Muslims particularly American Muslims and ACA patients I extend my heartfelt promise that fair treatment for us all is a priority for me and all my friends. A break can make us stronger. Come back with more of what we can. Some of that will be patience I’m afraid.
