Alex Jones’ Infowars Is Ripping Off Consumers
Posted because the guy is dead on, and I found this linked at one of the legitimate gold buying/selling pages that gets enormous traffic. kitco.com It’s a little amusing how he takes advantage of a fairly hapless crowd. The author’s link.
The reality is that Jones is literally nothing more than a snake-oil salesman. In between his convoluted idiotic conspiracy theories he hawks a variety of products, including vitamins and health supplements. I just like to point out that while he says his products are the best things in the world he promotes the idea that vaccines cause autism and that the science in general shouldn’t be trusted, dismissing climate change as a hoax. I guess Jones found the only honest scientists in the world and convinced them to work for him to create health supplements because that is realistic.
He also sells a variety of survival gear on his website things like water purifiers, tents and sleeping bags. In a head-to-head comparison most of his products can found a lot cheaper in other places.
The best example is the Ledge Sports Ridge 8-person tent. Regular price, the tent on Inforwars is 189.99 but if you act now you can buy it for $149.95.
However, I recommend that you do a little shopping around. On Amazon.com you can pick up the tent for $49.99 plus a shipping fee of 24.95, a 50% discount compared to what you would pay on Inforwars.
