Sunday Macro Plus Butterflies, Flowers, Landscapes
Donna found me in my hide. It was a spot that put a huge deep view literally at my feet off a granite cliff. This is the hide.
Which got me this shot. I’m not terribly afraid of heights. But when I looked through the camera a while my mind filled in the black space under the display as if I had a floor extending out. After I took the shot I just put the camera down, but as my eyes again took in the real depth and height I got vertigo really bad for a minute.
Just down the road D_L got this one.
And the area is just full of butterflies.
Late season rains and the end of the drought have given us a superbloom.
This one is Poodle Dog Bush I’m told and nasty like poison oak.
