Rural Wildflowers
Out driving down a back country road, just enjoying a day that was warm & sunny but not too hot or too humid when a flash of white caught my eye. I turned around and back a couple hundred yards was an old gate off to the side of a newer gate and trail. The old gate hasn’t been used in probably nearly as long as since it had been painted but that lets the flowers run riot in a way that only a north woods summer can.
I need to remember to go back in a week or so when the thistles are in bloom; that could offer a delightful view as well.
Enjoy!
