Lubbock Best-Prepared City in Country to Survive Zombie Attack, New Realtor Ranking Claims
Lubbock was ranked by realtor.com as the top city in which you can survive a zombie apocalypse, based on several factors unique to the area.
The real estate website analyzed several factors to come up with the list: availability of drinking water, home listings with a panic room or underground shelter, listings with renewable energy generators, population density, the percentage of active military and federal government employees (which it calls “nuke targets”), the number of health care workers and firearm availability.
Lubbock excelled in a few categories. Being a smaller metro area helped; the website suggests if one is “fond of your brains, you don’t want to be in a big city.” Lubbock has just over 250,000 residents, according to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau projections.
This is propaganda, probably originated in the basement of the Kremlin. Any rational observer can see that Lubbock has already been taken over by zombies. You have to fight them off when you go to Walmart and the South Plains Mall is a complete no-go zone. There are big swarms of them around the former schools and Texas Tech is completely infested. It is obvious they have long since cleaned out City Hall, since all the brains there have been clearly been eaten. How the city still manages to collect money is beyond me. Must be some sort of reflex reaction. They have even learned to drive, after a fashion, though the whole red/green/yellow thing seems to defy their limited synaptic capacity.
