Well it puddled anyway.
We were going away for a week so we checked the tarp for position, tautness, sandbag anchors, etc.
It looked fine.
Didn’t even think about it while we were away.
Even with getting tornado warnings through the weather app. (sometimes it thinks we’re still at home when we’re anywhere else.)
We walked in the door at 11:15 last night and almost didn’t look out the window. then it started to rain.
And we saw the tarp had sunk in places and filled with water.
so we went out in the dark and rain and bailed, pulled and tugged and realized two of the rafters had rotated 180 degrees so they were hanging down instead of up.
With all the rain and wind the tarp either filled up and spun a rafter that fell on another on and broke it, or the wind blew a rafters over and then the tarp filled up some time later.
We don’t know when, how much rain, etc. Could have happened a week ago, or just yesterday afternoon. Or even any night we were home.
Doesn’t really matter.
Won’t know the water damage till tomorrow. Or what we’re gonna have to do, if anything.
It was 11:30pm, dark and rainy. There are no pix.
