Freddie Washington 2010 KSBR Bash
If you listen to music at all, then you’ve heard Freddie & probably liked it. He’s played or toured with Herbie Hancock, Michael Jackson, Al Jarreau, Aaron Neville, Lionel Richie, Anita Baker, B.B. King, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Donald Fagen, The Crusaders, George Benson, Denice Williams, Johnny Mathis, Burt Bacharach, Kenny Loggins and Steely Dan. Most people will remember him for co-writing one of the best disco songs ever produced, “Forget Me Nots” - a song found even in the libraries of people who used to wear “Disco Sucks” tee-shirts.
Bassman Freddie Washington performs “Freddie’s Groove” at the 2010 KSBR Birthday Bash. Another amazing All-Star backing band too, including another super bassman Brian Bromberg, Jackiem Joyner, Land Richards (drums), Freddie Fox (guitar) and Dan Siegel (keys)
