Rodgers is looking at the overall picture on Merseyside and hopes the current campaign - which has Liverpool still in the Premier League title race and on course for a return to UEFA Champions League competition - will represent another positive step en route to hitting much bigger targets.
He told LFCTV GO: “I’ve been satisfied in terms of the progress we have made but there is still a long way to go in terms of where I want to go with the whole project.
“Hopefully it continues to grow. We have gone from a team who was looking to put a style of football in place - high energy, high tempo - to one who wants to have success running alongside that, and success is getting into the Champions League.
WASHINGTON D.C. — You have to hand it to the conservatives here at CPAC. They’re a forgiving lot. They believe in second chances, even for felons. Why, just this morning, I heard a speech by a guy who sold missiles to a government that sponsored terrorism, lied about it, got convicted, and then dove like a scalded rat through a loophole. I watched a panel including a guy who, while working as police commissioner in New York, entangled himself in such baroque corruption that he ended up in the federal sneezer for 36 months. And, this afternoon, on a panel entitled “After Obama,” we will be treated to the views of a guy who helped out a covert CIA agent, lied about it, got convicted, and then got pardoned.
There is no crime on the Right that cannot be forgiven — except, maybe, supporting something this particular president proposes.

1980’s John McCain: The fundamental question is: What is the United States’ interest in Lebanon? It is said we are there to keep the peace. I ask, what peace? It is said we are there to aid the government. I ask, what government? It is said we are there to stabilize the region. I ask, how can the U.S. presence stabilize the region?… The longer we stay in Lebanon, the harder it will be for us to leave. We will be trapped by the case we make for having our troops there in the first place.
This is incredibly sad. The poor baby did nothing to deserve this. I hope they actually do find a cure and find it soon. The sooner they’re able to cure her, the greater the chance that they’ll save her life.
In this undated image provided by Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2005 Dr. Deborah Persaud, a pediatric HIV expert at Johns Hopkins’ Child…
A second baby born with the AIDS virus may have had her infection put into remission and possibly cured by very early treatment — in this instance, four hours after birth.
Doctors revealed the case Wednesday at an AIDS conference in Boston. The girl was born in suburban Los Angeles last April, a month after researchers announced the first case from Mississippi. That was a medical first that led doctors worldwide to rethink how fast and hard to treat infants born with HIV, and the California doctors followed that example.
In another AIDS-related development, scientists have modified genes in the blood cells of a dozen adults to help them resist HIV. The results give hope that this approach might one day free at least some people from needing medicines to keep HIV under control, a form of cure. That study was published in Thursday’s New England Journal of Medicine.

Happy International Women’s Day everyone….
If you have gay sex, then it is just a “small step” to sex with a dog. “Sluts are just whores in training.” Women shouldn’t make an “emotional decision to divorce because the husband stepped out” if he was a “good provider.” And, whatever you do, don’t go to Disney World during “gay/lesbian week.”
Those are just some of the gems uncovered after the Arkansas blog Blue Hog Report discovered that an pseudonymous commenter on a message board for Louisiana State University fans was sitting Arkansas state Judge Mike Maggio. Judge Maggio, who posted under the username “geauxjudge” offered questionable views on race, sexuality, women and many other issues.
The popular strength conditioning program CrossFit has refused to allow transgender individuals to compete in the CrossFit Games on the team with which they identify. One California woman is now suing the exercise program for discriminating against her based on her gender identity.
Let her compete, seriously - enough with this gender oppression…

My decision to do porn to pay for college was a private one I made, and then I was outed to my university classmates by another Duke student who had seen me on the Internet a few months ago. After promising me he would respect my privacy, he proceeded to reveal who I was to the entire Greek system, which is when all of this controversy first began. I started to be harassed. He started to be applauded.
Isn’t that always the way? The porn performer is to be shamed. The porn consumer is to be celebrated.
In my own personal life, I am devastated to reveal that many of those closest to me have unleashed similar cruelty. Many have simply shut me out. Some of my best and oldest friends have told me that I deserve anything negative or horrible that comes my way — and that terrible things are what I have brought upon myself when I decided to do porn.
To this I would ask: What about the people who consume porn?
Personally, i completely applaud her personal, public stand.
It really is abhorrent that women are still ‘slut shamed’ in this manner - when - lets face it, we are a society that loves porn.
I’ve never been told to die in quite so many ways.
D’Souza told the conservative conference that Obama believes “the free market system is based on theft” and seemed to be under the impression that Obama came up with the entire system of taxation: “Think about this, it’s almost like here you are at home, you’re watching TV, and a bunch of government guys show up at your door and they start taking your furniture and taking your car and you’re like, ‘What are you doing?’ They’re like, ‘You know your paycheck that you got last month? You didn’t earn that, you stole it, it doesn’t really belong to you.’
In an October 16, 2012 article, published in World Magazine, author Warren Cole Smith reported on D’Souza’s activities after a September 28, 2012 talk in Spartanburg, S.C. In the article, Smith states that D’Souza, who was married at the time, checked into a hotel with another woman, and left with her the following day. In a rebuttal to that article, D’Souza stated that he had separated from his wife, Dixie. He also confirmed that he had been engaged to the woman mentioned in the article, Denise Odie Joseph; he later suspended that engagement after the article prompted an investigation by officials at The King’s College where D’Souza served as president. It was later revealed that Mrs. Joseph was also married at the time. He officially filed for divorce from Dixie on October 4, 2012.
After the news of the engagement became public, the trustees of The King’s College announced after meeting on October 17, 2012 that D’Souza resigned his position as president of the university in order “to attend to his personal and family needs”. The scandal resonated particularly at The King’s College because “The King’s College is not a typical institution of higher learning. It is a tiny Christian college based in a downtown Manhattan office building, whose mission statement articulates a ‘commitment to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview”.
… indicted by federal prosecutors and charged with campaign finance law violations. Prosecutors alleged that D’Souza used straw donors to funnel campaign contributions to an unnamed Senate candidate. D’Souza was charged with violations of the Federal Campaign Act of 1971, with prosecutors asserting that D’Souza had violated the limit of $5000 for any individual to contribute to a specific candidate for US Senate in a single election year, by directing others to make contributions to Wendy Long in the amount of $20,000 and reimbursing them. He would be arraigned in a Manhattan federal court on January 24. The charges include making illegal campaign contributions, with a maximum sentence of two years incarceration, and causing false statements to be made to the FEC, with a maximum sentence of five years incarceration.
D’Souza’s attorney argued that D’Souza “did not act with any corrupt or criminal intent whatsoever” and described the incident as “at most … an act of misguided friendship”. His co-producers alleged that the indictment was politically motivated retribution for the success of his 2016 movie.
He also wrote a book in 1995 declaring : ‘The End of Racism’ which he then subsequently disproved by releasing another book in 2010: ‘The Roots of Obama’s Rage,’
So…… D’souza - why exactly is he a thing again?

When Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) made a thinly veiled reference comparing Eric Holder to George Wallace before a group of conservatives, it may not have occurred him that the attorney general’s sister-in-law, Vivian Malone Jones, was one of the segregationist’s actual victims during the Jim Crow era.
