Quite possibly the biggest waves ever surfed. Some are estimating the height at over 100’.

Can't imagine what that drop feels like. In the 90s I surfed 15+ foot waves in Brevard county produced by Hurricane Bertha and I thought THAT was intense. Scary stuff

The Volcom Fiji Pro will be getting underway once again at 3pm PDT. A very large swell has moved in overnight and it looks to be a day of huge waves, massive barrels and serious charging. According to the contest site, conditions are epic. Not to be missed!

Update: Heavy conditions out there. The contest is temporarily on hold due to strong winds and very large waves. Definitely one of the largest days ever for an ASP event.
