Physicians less likely to prescribe antidepressants to minorities, Medicaid patients

“If only it was all like medicaid/medicare” goes the refrain. Judging by examples as above, single payer should not be regarded as a panacea for health care reform. Could someone explain to me why medicaid patients are denied the care as described? ns.umich.edu
