An interesting article on how states are ‘tight’ or ‘loose’. ‘Tight’ states, “have many strongly enforced rules and little tolerance for deviance.” ‘Loose’ states, “have few strongly enforced rules and greater tolerance for deviance.” It’s an interesting idea that I think is quite useful.
