Trump Adviser's Wife Tweets Fake Photo of Hillary Clinton "Working for Fidel Castro in Havana"

NH Rep. Al Baldasaro and wife Judy on their heavily armed wedding day

You may recall Donald Trump's co-chair of veterans' issues, New Hampshire Representative Al Baldasaro, from the time he publicly called for Hillary Clinton to be "shot for treason," then refused to back down or apologize, claiming the "liberal media" was smearing him by accurately reporting his actual words, verbatim.

Well, Baldasaro's wife Judy (seen above in their charming wedding photo) tweeted a Hillary Clinton conspiracy meme today that I hadn't seen before (and I thought I'd seen most of them!) -- that Hillary Clinton traveled to Havana in 1968 to work with Fidel Castro's "Venceremos Brigade." She included a photo in her tweet, and addressed it to Fox News:

OMG!

The first thing you'll notice about this photo is that the woman on the tractor (if it is a woman and not a man with long hair) looks nothing at all like Hillary Clinton, and there's nothing to indicate it was even taken in Cuba. For comparison, here's a picture of Hillary in 1968:

The fact is that Hillary Clinton was elected president of the Wellesley College student government in 1968 and served through the winter of 1969, and never went to Cuba.

Googling for more information on this conspiracy theory, I discovered that it's been bubbling under the surface in various far right discussion dungeons for years, and that's probably where this fraudulent photo originated. Here it is in February 2015, along with another photo that also looks nothing like Hillary Clinton.

I tweeted to Judy Baldasaro shortly after she posted the fraudulent photo, letting her know it was not Hillary Clinton.

The woman in that photo looks nothing like Hillary Clinton. This is a fake. @JudyBaldasaro https://t.co/C3hpLSs9wX

Baldasaro responded by immediately blocking me on Twitter, and then deleting her tweet with no correction or retraction, of course. Then she posted another tweet accusing people who called her on this fake photo of being "sent out" by Hillary.

You know you must have hit a nerve when Hillary sends out ALL her fans to discredit a post ๐Ÿ˜Žis it all 20 ?#StoneTear
