I taught high school for a long time. There are some yearbook photo studios that insist on the traditional necktie/bowtie for the boys and the “drape” for the girls. A drape exposes the shoulders, and the girls are required to take off their tops and/or bras, so there is only bare skin showing. The high school where I taught had no dress code, so these kind of traditionally minded studios got no quarter in our school. But they still made a pretty penny off other schools.
