At least three out of four liberal justices voted with the majority. When the court arrives at an 8-1 or 9-0 verdict, and you disagree, you ought to at least consider the possibility that they understand the case better than you do.

They’re smarter than you, they’ve given the case more thought than you, and they have talked it over with more people and had more of a chance to weigh other pespectives than you have.
