And that, boys and girls, is why we should believe scientific findings in general. It’s because they are falsifiable. And sooner or later, a false claim, or unrepeatable experiment is very likely to be exposed.

It’s fine to be cautious in accepting new data, but the very fact that some things are proved not to be true is what gives me confidence in science as a whole.
