As I understand, even if the election were cancelled or postponed, Trump’s term of office would end in January 2021 and the Rules of Succession would then apply. That would disqualify Mike Pence, as his term would also expire.

And who would then follow? The Speaker of the House, currently Nancy Pelose.

So go ahead and fucking cancel it if you must…
