And how’s this for a passive-aggressive threat:

People might get hurt in a sit-in trying to stop the ground breaking of a mosque looking down on Ground Zero. Why? In the interest of building bridges?

This is not just a passive-aggressive threat. I see where she’s going with it: If there is any violence, either towards Muslims or protesters, she is trying to place it squarely on heads of Muslims in advance.

Should anyone get hurt (God forbid) she would then point to her post to show how she beseeched good, conscientious, America-loving Muslims to reconsider, but since there weren’t any (or at least not enough to stop the center being built), then anything bad that happens is their fault, not hers.
