The irony of an “Alaskan” complaining about “federal overreach”.

Alaska, the state, is “federal overreach.” A state whose creation was engineered by monied interests in the lower 48 and whose accession to the US was accomplished without proper consent of the natives. A state where federal funds keep the economy from totally collapsing back to subsistence.
