“Designer” “Creator” — it’s all code for the Christian version of God. No thanks.

Here’s the question I’ve always wanted to see answered by creationists. Tried it out on my fundy Christian mother-in-law; watched the wheels spin. This was on the heels of her shock of finding that I reject creationism because evolution is a fact. Go figure - an anthropology major who studied evolution and biology would reject creationism. And she’s only known me for 30 years.

If the Bible is literally true and the literal word of God and everything in it is what literally happened…

how come the first two chapters of Genesis are creation stories that don’t match and can’t be reconciled?
