Seems to me the intelligent and tolerant path would be a display for welcome to all. Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Atheist. Each has a chosen icon for their belief. Where the atheists go off the rails is to claim no public displays should be allowed. As if a symbol does them harm.

Nobody deserves death threats over this, some Christians need to examine their anger and decide if anger is their chosen lifestyle.
