When it comes to who to believe, these are our choices: 1) Kayak 2) a network 3) network sales departments 4) the FFA.

I mean, is it possible that whoever sold the ads—The show is going to present the truth about American Muslims—used just the right inflections to imply that this would be like a 60 Minutes expose? Would an ad salesperson do that?

Whatever, the FFA overplayed their hand, as do many extremist groups, and is generating quite a bit of publicity for the show. The ratings should improve. Which should help TLC. The higher the rating for the network, the more they can charge for ad time.

Is anyone actually losing in this drama? Dearborn is getting positive PR, TLC is getting ratings, FFA gets to beat its chest, the advertisers simply move their business elsewhere and will not lose business, and the sales reps get higher commissions.
