Anyone with kids can tell you how tormenting this must be. I get nervous when either one of my kids have a fever (worse case scenario). During the summer, I travel quite a bit thru the Adirondacks. I enjoy stopping at old cemetaries and view the names and art on the headstones. A lot of kids didn’t make it to their first burfdays in the late 1800’s. A lot more eighteen year olds died (logging). The art is impressive, a closed rose meant a life cut short, or a cape over a pillar(I forget what that meant). We are very lucky to have the medical care now, a fever won’t kill you, unlike 150 years ago.
