Its an embarassment to Greece that neo-nazis got even 7% of the vote, but I’m inclined to believe a large portion of that is simply rejection of the mainstream parties which have failed so miserably rather than an embrace of Nazism. Perhaps the youth have historical amnesia, but to me, whose mother had to flee Nazi bombing during the Blitz, its hard to understand how people in a country victimized by Nazism could embrace it.
