The linked article looks to be warmed-over clash of civilizations material that is well past its sell-by date. I read it and was not impressed.

Europe needs to find a way to deal with its debt crisis, and to deal with dislocations in its labor markets (often involving Islamic guest workers that are poorly integrated into society). Solving these problems should render the Islamist threat in Europe pretty much negligible.
