When I was after a CCW for work, I went to the Police Commission public meeting. Got my 5 minutes to speak. I’ll tell you what I brandished and it got everyones attention. I mean everyone was just raptly watching.

I put two kilos of 24 karat gold on the table in front of me. Pointed to them and declared I had “good cause” and handed out a 3 page letter on my good character and some legalese that was included. I was still denied but hey I gave it my best try with the best I could bring. I’m pretty sure I made a memorable impression.
