He doesn’t really mention the existence of racism in the modern US in that video, however, he doesn’t claim that it doesn’t exist either or that it isn’t a problem. You are right about one thing, it would have been better if he had mentioned the existence of anti black racism today and how it effects black people. I wouldn’t say that he was whitesplaining”
