This is going to get messy. The Canadians are going to need answers, as well as the Ukrainians. You can’t trust anything that comes out of the White House, but this seems to be a lot more widely sourced. I wouldn’t consider it verified, but it makes a whole lot more sense than a completely randomly unrelated catastrophic accident right after a military strike from that country, that took the plane down before the pilots could say a word.

However, if this is the case then the Iranians are committed to covering it up, since it’s pretty hard not to know you just shot down an aircraft with your own air defense systems in your own country. Besides over sixty of your own citizens and dozens of Iranian-Canadians dead. MH17 all over again.

The stories coming out about the passengers are heartbreaking; newlyweds and university students.
