The figures were said to have been published by Mensa, the UK-based society which calls itself an “international high IQ organisation”.

But here’s the thing: Mensa published no such figures.

Although James Woods may not have a verified IQ of 180, he was accepted to MIT and (bizarrely) dropped out his last semester to pursue his acting career. So my guess is that his IQ was significantly higher than average.
