What the hell even is his strategy here? Even in his drug-addled mind wreckage? Does he think he can bully her into a yes vote? Why does he think he needs to? As long as it’s just Collins and Murkowski defecting, Barrett still gets confirmed.

This makes no sense in any sort of normal political calculus… but then, why would that apply these days?
