And, actually, I don’t agree with the 25 year age gap thing. I don’t think government should be involved in who marries whom.

This may be aimed at stopping Child Brides. Although 25 year difference is still too far a gap for that. It’s not a problem exclusive to Islamic countries. It’s done in India, too and elsewhere. I did a page about it here.

I’d like to get all excited about this, but mixed marriage is either someone outside a religion or ethnicity. The Saudis are only saying you can marry someone who isn’t Saudi, but they still have to be Arab and most likely Muslim. But the article doesn’t say.

And yes, CL, meanwhile the women are screaming to drive and they haven’t budged. That would be something for sure.
