I have this old Canon Pellix FL lens from the sixties, it’s f 1.4 and the bocah is rich and creamy once you get past the focal plane and focus from the right depth. So I spent all day researching adapter rings for modern DSLR’s, and it turns out that there are a few. Then I took out the magnifying glass and looked at the surface of the lens only to discover that it’s got tons of microscopic pits and scratches. I was bummed.
I’ll probably end up shelling out for a new F 1.8 instead.
