Can someone give me a quick summary for the not-legally-minded? Basically they’re demanding they throw out any ballots that don’t have all the is dotted and ts crossed, but this is a last minute change in the rules that won’t be passed down to all the workers AND will result in most early votes being tossed out?

Am I close?

A lawyer friend of mine keeps posting the particulars on the political blog, I can’t grasp any of it. All I know is the that lawyers are battling tooth and nail every step of the way with this.
