WW, good Page. The lesson here is multifaceted IMHO. From a gun standpoint, yes we need strict storage rules. From a human standpoint we need more help for troubled kids and strict storage rules and far fewer “loose” guns.

I read a suicide story recently that had chilling similarities to this one but carbon monoxide was the choice for that murder/suicide. This older man also planned for days. Sealed up the garage windows with plywood. When deep planning is involved, look out no matter what is at hand or not. Very scary stuff.
