Seriously, someone point me towards one of these creatures. I’m writing a class paper on cryptozoology.

My guess is he’s talking of the Frums of the GOP, you know, those deluded souls who keep telling themselves that after this next election, when the GOP gets its ass kicked thoroughly, that it’ll come around and realize that it needs to moderate itself to thrive again. You know, the ones who tell themselves that no matter how low the party sinks, they can still find “sane” candidates to support and thus hold out a hope that those “sane” candidates will eventually outnumber the loons.
