I don’t think any lefty said he was all powerful but I think many did appropriately question why a man who has never been elected to any office or really any faint idea how to govern a country would be allowed that much influence. At the same time, he’s one to talk about mocking since his side thinks every lefty has Alinsky’s book memorized.

AH! Ok, I misunderstood Becky. I thought he was saying that the Left sided with Norquist. But, yes, I completely agree with you that Norquist’s anti-government/anti-tax rhetoric had a lot of influence at one time….and likely some even today.
