Mrs. Fish made the comment a couple of nights back: “Oh, women knew all of this a long time ago. We all know who Donald Trump is. This isn’t news to us.” Sometimes we ought to listen to the fairer sex.

And yet I knew lots of women who refused to believe Rock Hudson was gay*, when every man in America had always known it—so it goes both ways.

*The obligatory “Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
