If you want to say “Merry Christmas” because it’s Christmas, and the whole thing makes you happy, and you want to share that happiness, I don’t think anyone especially minds.

If you want to say “Merry Christmas” so you can prove this is still a ‘Christian Nation’, then you’re an asshole, and you really, REALLY don’t have a clue what Christ, Christian, or Christmas even mean.
