I don’t think the op-ed writer is Pence. White House leakers have been careful to use other people’s language to hide their identity for a while now.

My guess would be Mnuchin. Relatively social moderate but a tax and trade guy — 2 issues the op-ed writer indicated were most important to him.

If it’s from Pence—and I doubt it—it certainly wasn’t written by Pence. Anything above a 2nd-grade level was written for Pence by someone else. If that’s the case, we’ll find out, and soon. Tomorrow, probably.
