Having worn Army green before I have to say if the US Army is trying to get good people to leave the service, this is how you do it.
Useless missions hurt morale.
Being deployed over the holiday’s for a useless mission is the worst.

And if they leave the service who is going to take their place in this job markets? The military in general has had a tough time filling its ranks and loathed to reducing its standards. This won’t help.

I’m sure all the lifers are putting on their brave faces, but the lions share of the enlisted are simply pissed and counting their days till they are short. Who would reenlist for this crap?
