I go to twitter and see “Handbrake” trending.

I think to myself, “that’s a program to compress video”. I’ve used it.

Why is it trending? - I ask myself naively.

Then I click on it and see Posobiec is tweeting about it.

And suddenly I realize how very lost our computer-illiterate portion of society has become.

Isn’t Handbrake more of a transcoding tool, to let you convert between different formats? And also rip files from DVDs? I don’t think it’s specifically for compressing video.
